I'm a self-taught product designer studying HCI and business at Rice University. Previously designed at Dropbox and currently leading design at Rice Design.
I designed my first interface when I was 8 years old, drawing screen-by-screen designs of a Pokémon game I made to pass the time. A decade later, I discovered product design through interviewing designers of a successful carpool app. I had a couple coffee chats and now here I am!
My greatest passions are reading, watching birds, and eating cheese.
🥰Make life easier for others
I design to reduce the friction people experience every day. Whether I'm redesigning or starting from scratch, my intention is always to solve something that is meaningful to someone.
🙂Solve with simplicity
Sometimes a problem isn't as complex as it seems. Sometimes the best solutions are the least complicated for everyone. I design to keep things simple for myself and for others.
🤔Designing is understanding
Great designs come from understanding what is going on at a user and system level. I design to understand people and their problems so that I accurately solve for them.
